Our Company's Name "ATLAS CHEMICALS" Was Registered In 1993 When It Became A Totally Independent Entity. However The Name Goes Back To 1946 When My Late Father Mr. Yousef Marto (1921-1998). Established Our Mother Company "Eastern Company" In Jerusalem, Palestine.

The Family And The Company Relocated To Jordan following The Israeli Aggression against  Palestine In 1948. At The Beginning We Sold The American "Jeep" Vehicles And Then Engel Bert Tiers from Belgium. Simultaneously We Sold Chemicals When My Father Took  The Agency Of "Shell" In 1947 With Petroleum Derivatives Distribution And Later Pesticides Which Also Led Into The Sales Of Seeds And Fertilizers. "Eastern Company" Became More Defined In The Early Sixties With Two Divisions The "Seeds, Pesticides And Fertilizers" On one  Side And The "Chemicals" on the Other Side.

In 1993, The Chemicals Division In "Eastern Company" Became A Separate Company Named "ATLAS CHEMICALS" With Many Different Suppliers From All Over The World. Today, "ATLAS CHEMICALS" With Its Strong Base Of  Regional and International Suppliers Is Working Effectively In Jordan As Its Home Base And With Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Egypt, Palestine National Authority "PNA" Area And Sudan As Its Region. We Have A Strong Presence In The Supply of  Raw Materials That Go Into The Plastics And Plastic Additives, Detergents, Paints, Tobacco Additives, Medical Products, Soap Production, Adhesives Production, Flexible Foam And Resins Industries .
